Job Description / Responsibility
- Maintain LAN with Switches, Routers and Firewalls including their installation and configuration
- Configure, troubleshoot and maintain DNS, proxy, Gateway and Load Balancer & other Platforms
- Ensure Internet Connectivity & Intranet Radio Network of Survey of Bangladesh
- Troubleshooting hardware and network related problems, attend IT Helpdesk and initiate resolution
- Ensure technical support to PC users & installation or configuration of software and hardware
- Ensure smooth operation of Computer & Network System
- Set out and implement operational and technical policies to perform disaster recovery from failure
- Plans, designs, develops, and implements methodologies for VPN, VLAN, VoIP & Bandwidth controller

Minimum B.Sc in
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or related discipline &
Professional certification MCSE/CCNA/Redhat etc.
Experience Requirements

Job Requirements
- Experience:
- Experience in developing and using drive imaging technologies, Network and client based antivirus protection strategies, and robust automated backup solutions.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP
- Familiar with any enterprise grade Backup software; experience with Backup Exec is a plus
- Very good orientation with mid ranged Routers
- Familiar with Optical Fiber based LAN deployment
- Experience with any enterprise grade Network and SCSI Devices.
- Good knowledge base on Data center /NOC Standards and practices.
- The consultant should have minimum 3 (three) years recent working experience in related field.
- The consultant should be well convergent in IT sector.
- The consultant must have the capability of imparting training to the SOB technicians in the relevant field.
- EOI is to be submitted by individual consultant with a forwarding letter.
- The EOI must be duly signed and dated on every page.
- The individual consultant must have postal address, e-mail and contact number.
- The services are likely to commence on 1st July 2017.
